Former President Donald J. Trump recently launched the promised social media platform for anyone who has been banned or removed from Facebook or Twitter, and it turned out to be a WordPress blog site. Trump is now a blogger, but still faces a ruthless ban on major US and world social media platforms as he was dismantled.
While there are huge disputes in the courts to create a board of directors or a division within the US government to control social media, the current moderation still gives these companies the right and power to misrepresent who. whether it be. Currently, Facebook is on the verge of settling the various disputes it faces, including an antitrust hearing for its case.

Content moderation is still of utmost importance for social media and brings discipline to everyone who uses the platform.
Former President Trump was removed from office and banned from Facebook and Twitter for his alleged disinformation during his stint on the platform, which was later discussed after his tenure as President of the United States. However, this is not a problem for the businessman, as Trump has promised that a social media platform will arrive for all banned posters like him.
Several months after the statements and claims, Trump is back with a platform to speak out via the WordPress blog. This is the site called “From Donald J. Trump’s officeThe ‘social media’ platform, aka blog, is said to have features like popular social networking sites like Twitter, which has a similar button (which is not working at the time of writing).
Facebook, Twitter vs. Trump’s WordPress blog
While there is nothing wrong with people starting a WordPress blog, especially the old-fashioned former president, the various features he boasts are in direct competition with massive platforms. Facebook and Twitter have been developed for years by different staff and IT experts, spending hours of coding to provide its different functionality.
However, in Trump’s social media blog these features are non-existent, yet they do look like a Twitter timeline of post positioning and scrolling. Different supporters of this blog can subscribe to newsletter alerts by email and phone numbers (like following on social media), and share the content on Facebook.

Can Trump’s Blog Be Considered Social Media?
While blogging sites are primarily viewed as a social network, it’s safe to say that it’s not a full-fledged social media outlet, as Trump promised months ago. Blogs have been there to be the vehicle for people’s thoughts and feelings, but they lack the interaction and other elements to be called “social media”.
